Hello, my name is Annette Trenkle, owner of The Elegant Pet LLC. My love of animals started at a very young age. Growing up, I had many pets from frogs, hamsters, Chinchillas, rabbits, Sugar Gliders, cats, dogs and later horses, chickens, goats, am I missing any?! After graduating and earning my Veterinary Technician Degree, I worked with holistic medicine including acupuncture, wildlife rehabilitation, emergency veterinary care, humane society, and standard veterinary practice. I continued my education attending dog training school which ranged from Therapy dogs to Police K-9 work. I ran my own Dog Training business for many years while persuing a new passion of dog grooming. I have been grooming pets for over 30 years and still continue to learn. My background as a Certified Veterinary Technician, Certified Canine Esthetician, Certified in Pet Massage, Reiki, Pet First Aid, Certified Master Dog Trainer,  and Certified Fear Free Pet Sitter, Groomer and Trainer has given my clients trust in me with their pets. I strongly believe in continuing education and attend conferences and seminars regularly to keep up with the latest techniques and equipment. 

I combine my true love for animals and my background to offer the best experience for your pet. My goal is to make sure your pet is as happy, healthy, and safe as possible.  Whether it be grooming or pet-sitting , I look forward to the experience being as stress free as possible for your pet and you! As I grow a positive , healthy relationship with your pet, it is important that you, at the other end of the leash , feel comfortable as well. It is vital that you and your pet do not feel rushed, stressed or misunderstood in any way! The one on one private salon, just me and your pet creates the perfect environment for the ultimate spa experience.

Of course, I leave plenty of time for some snuggles, which may just be my favorite part!
