Pet Grooming is much more than a bath and haircut! Each pet is given a groomer's exam which evaluates the overall condition of your pet's coat, skin, nails, etc .before, during and after grooming. This exam helps determine which shampoo to use, tools, drying methods, etc. Every visit is built around the dedication to a Fear Free Environment. Your pet's overall wellness is our priority.  My Veterinary Technician background can give you piece of mind when it comes to your pet’s safety. Proper handling ,safe and high quality products and proper sanitization of equipment and the salon are some of the many things that are of high priority here at The Elegant Pet llc.

Fear-Free Grooming is a compassionate approach prioritizing a pet's emotional well-being by reducing fear, anxiety, and stress through positive reinforcement, gentle handling, and a calming environment, using techniques like treats, toys, breaks, and customized sessions to make grooming a positive, stress-free, and even enjoyable experience for pets. It's about working with the pet's comfort level, not against it, ensuring they feel safe and in control. 

We cater exclusively to small dogs 30lbs and under and compliant cats.

We offer a serene, low stress environment that is comfortable for your pet. Creating a positive, safe and relaxing experiece is what we specialize in.

This is an essential service that maintains the appearance and hygiene of your pet. Each Basic service at The Elegant Pet includes:

  • Groomer's exam and consult.

  • Premium shampoos and fine conditioners

  • Blow dry

  • Full brush out

  • Nail trimming and filing/dremeling if possible

  • Ear cleaning

  • Pad trim

  • Sanitary trim

De-shedding (rejuvenates the coat)package-All pets have dead coat removal as part of the grooming service. The package includes special shampoos and conditioners to help minimize shed in between baths by providing extra hydration.

  • De-matting-If extra de-matting can be done in a humane way vs trimming your pet shorter there will be an additional fee for time.

  • Teeth brushing/polishing-If your pet allows, teeth brushing with pet safe toothpaste and polish for overall dental health is a great addition to your normal pet dental care at home. This is also not a replacement for a complete dental done by veterinarians. You will be notified of any visible dental issues that require veterinary care.

  • Nail trimming and dremeling. (include in all grooms is pet allows).

  • Specialty Skin and Coat Care: ( for allergies, skin ailments, etc) Options that are appropriate for your pet can be discussed at time of grooming

  • Flea /skunk/odor removal

  • Hot oil treatments

  • Clay masks : draws out impurities, a natural detoxifier for hot spots, oily areas etc

  • Sugar scrubs: exfoliating, removes odors

  • Paw scrubs and soaks: Beneficial for pets with itchy paws, odor and irratation. Helps reverse damage from environmental damage, and effectively removes bacteria, yeast and allergens

Full Groom

​​Includes all of the basic groom essentials as well as a haircut of your choice. After a full Groomer's exam, we consult with you on what length would best suit your pet at this time. We will work hard to give your pet the individual look you want that will assuredly bring out the essence of your pet’s personality.

Pricing:

There are many variables in pet grooming, such as whether your pet has a long or short coat, if the fur is matted, or tangled, skin issues, etc. Therefore, there is no set pricing for fine grooming. We set individual prices for each pet, largely based on the time required to complete the chosen service.
